Kivonat:The thesis aimed to analyze how Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) use revenue and yield management practices to balance profitability and passenger satisfaction. The thesis first presents the practices LCCs use in their operations to manage revenue and yield practices, followed by reviewing literature from studies made on the subject, followed by a study done by the author to highlight the main factors passenger consider when determining satisfaction. After the analysis and conclusion of the study, challenges LCCs face in balancing proftability and passenger satisfaction is presented along with potential future challenges that LCCs may have to face.
