Description
Abstract:In my thesis I explored how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted Hungarian wine consumption and trade. It analyzes the challenges faced by producers, including disrupted supply chains, shifts in consumer habits, and the decline of traditional sales channels. Through secondary research and interviews with industry stakeholders, the study highlights the rapid rise of e-commerce, digital marketing, and home delivery. It also addresses long-term trends such as increased price sensitivity, sustainability, and the growth of virtual wine tourism, emphasizing the sector’s resilience and adaptation strategies.
