| Abstract: | This thesis examines how the London 2012 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games strategically utilise tourism and business investment strategies as instruments of soft power to enhance their nations’ global attractiveness and geopolitical influence. The study analyzes how both host cities aligned their Olympic strategies with broader national narratives. Through a comparative approach, the research examines quantitative data (tourism receipts, FDI trends) with qualitative analysis (policy documents, expert interviews) to assess how these strategies translated into measurable soft power gains and long-term legacies. |
