Description
Abstract:This thesis researches how corporate social responsibility (CSR) affects employee motivation, satisfaction and retention in Hungarian SMEs. Based on quantitative research methods, the findings indicate that CSR -even external CSR, not directly benefitting the employee - can positively impact workplace perception and employee commitment. It also sheds light on the differences in CSR awareness and perception of different demographic groups and emphasizes the importance of proper communication and genuine, transparent implementation of CSR activities that in-turn will result in a stronger company culture.
