| Abstract: | This thesis explores how sensory experiences can transform fine dining, focusing on Onyx Restaurant’s new Aether concept in Budapest. Combining personal observations with guest feedback, it shows how food, sound, light, and storytelling turned an 11-course meal into an emotional journey through time. Guests described the experience as powerful, memorable, and far more than just dinner. Onyx’s approach highlights how thoughtful design can create deep connections, offering a new, experience-driven direction for Hungary’s fine dining scene. |
