| Kivonat: | Abstract Over the past few years it can be heard more and more often that enterprises are charged with penalties by various governmental institutions due to non-compliant commercial activities. It can be also observed that multinational companies invest bigger amounts into compliance programs and compliance structure development against improper payments. The purpose of this thesis is to gain a deep understanding of compliance best practices, the structure and parties of Compliance Departments and compliance programs. This research is an attempt to provide information and definitions about compliance phenomena and to explain the method of recognizing and preventing possible compliance risks. In concrete terms, the collected information allows to prove and emphasize the necessity of Corporate Compliance Departments. |
