Plastic decomposes so slowly that scientists can not tell the real-time of the progress, and companies still produce more and more. The biodegradable materials can be the future of disposable utensils since in the catering industry the use of disposable utensils is widespread; this problem appears often. The research in the document draws attention to the plastic problem and observes the respondents opinion about the possible solutions. Due to the responses of the online survey in this document, most customers are not aware of the effects of the materials used in catering for nature, but find it essential to make changes. I observed if the respondents have heard about the biodegradable materials before if they found this issue serious and if they would make any steps for a change. The research also shows if customers tend to pay more for biodegradable products; also, whether they would be affected by an advertisement about biodegradable materials user catering unit. This document can be a great example of customer behaviour and optimal and possible solutions.
