Abstract:Mass catering was always popular in Hungary, a considerable number of people eats in an institutional catering unit day by day. Since the regulation of HACCP was introduced in our country, there were many changes in the way of making food and its conditions. In this paper, I was trying to investigate the current situation of the applicability of HACCP in three differently developed cities in Hungary, and even in different kind of mass catering units. The unfortunate situation because of the Covid-19 is also discussed during the thesis.
