In the last decade, Turkey has been surfacing on the leading sphere of nations. Its quick economic and military development made it a favorable ally to acquire for its neighboring countries. Its location, history and politics were also crucial factors of this rapid growth. Turkey has become the 17th largest economy of the world and the sixth largest in Europe.
