Kivonat:The Coronavirus pandemic has been one of the most influential incidents in the globe as many business activities and investments around the world have been diminished. In this scenario, FDI will play a crucial role in the recovery stage of the global economy, and as a result, most countries in Europe have relied on FDI screening to boost their economies and to develop foreign investment in specific sectors. This thesis discusses the forecast and way forward for global FDI particularly in EU and EEA. This research study uses input from various published global reports. The analysis of the various scenarios of FDI show that, although the outlook on global FDI seem uncertain, it is therefore crucial for European leader to formulate strategies to respond to the COVID-19 crisis and to improve investor’s confidence. Finally, to interpret data and elaborate how FDI inflows and outflowed were changed in different European countries.
