Kivonat:Blockchain is here for a few years now and the whole world still trying to comprehend how it works and how it's functioning. Nonetheless, the pandemic hit with covid-19 and it did not just disrupt the whole supply chain process but also pushed so many new and underdeveloped technologies to the surface and it became a big part of the daily process of the supply chain. Nonetheless, Blockchain History began to gain attention in 2008 as a result of the actions of one individual or group known as Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi Nakamoto the godfather as considered by many was the creator of what we have now as first ever blockchain powered currency and concept “Bitcoin”. Whether it an individual or group of individuals they provided us with the first ever digital ledger technology. Such digital ledger is the focus of our paper review, as we took multiple resources and analysed them to give a full comprehensive overview of the whole industry of the supply chain and how can blockchain enhance the process and increase its efficiency to optimize such huge industry to be able to keep up with today's demands.
