| Abstract: | Nowadays, the usage of the different sustainable methods are becoming increasingly essential. It is the same regarding freight transportation, where the railway is becoming the most preferred mode. The focus of this study is on the transportation of hazaradous materials, it shows all the current legislation, the necessary precautions that must be made, and the potential consequences of disregarding them. It describes the processes of the company Rail Cargo Hungaria Zrt. To collect all necessary data numerous experts of the firm are being consulted, and personally conducted observations are made. The aim of the research was to identify any deficient points of the operations. In the course of the research, weaknesses in two areas were found, the underdevelopment of technology and communication. |
