Kivonat:Staff turnover in the hotel industry is a huge problem which is mostly connected with employee’s satisfaction. The turnover rate in Hungary is terribly high. The worker’s performance is an important part and plays a significant role in guest satisfaction and profitability of the hotels. An uncontent worker can cause other problems with poor fulfilment and a negative attitude. The goal of this dissertation is to be aware of the reasons for employee loyalty and get ideas on how to improve staff satisfaction. On the other hand, it is also important to see clearly why professionals leave the sector and ideas to reduce the number of them. It is expected to get results and suggestions which are acceptable for both the employer and the employee.
