| Kivonat: | Through the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, Vietnam demonstrated its ambition to become a modern, open, and competitive economy (EVFTA). The benefits of globalization are constantly debated, and numerous issues have been raised. However, in the case of Vietnam, these advantages have been visible in the country's sustained high rates of economic development and substantial decreases in poverty rates. As Vietnam moves on with the ratification and implementation of the EVFTA, it will be critical to illustrate the economic advantages and income distribution impacts of participating in these FTAs. The willingness to execute new generation FTAs is critical to ensuring that Vietnam reaps the full economic advantages of trade and investment. |
