| Kivonat: | The purpose of this research is to determine how the Palestinian banking industry by the financial services offered by commercial and Islamic banks contributed to the country's economic growth throughout the studied period (2005-2017). The regression model in this study was used to illustrate the empirical analysis. Therefore, six independent variables were utilized to represent this empirical analysis of the baking sector and to define the result of the research, whether the economic growth is profoundly affected by the banking sector improvements. The researcher adopted GDP (Gross domestic product) as a dependent tool to measure fluctuations in economic growth. this research is primarily based on secondary data collected from the consolidated financial statements of 15 operating banks in Palestine, in addition to the annual financial reports issued by the Palestinian Monetary Authority (PMA). After data collection on the variables in question, they were represented as a percentage of RGDP (real GDP). EViews statistical application was used to investigate the impact of these factors on improving the economic status in Palestinian society. The results of the study have demonstrated a favorable correlation between economic expansion and prosperity and the financial services offered by banks. My research's central query is: Does the banking sector have an impact on the overall growth in Palestine? |
