Kivonat:This article provides some theoretical and practicalattempts to bring attention to the role that Egypt's economy had in shapingthis country's foreign policy from 1978 and upwards. Egypt's fundamental featuresof foreign policy were created in the 1970s, with specific economic forceseffectively dictating the course Cairo would pursue despite considerablechanges in local, national, and worldwide affairs throughout the following 32years. For this reason, I'm hoping to find evidence supporting the claim thatthe house is just as much of a gathering place as it ever was. Majoradjustments in Egyptian foreign policy are suspected to have been motivated byregime insecurity, despite the fact that economic factors may have been adriving factor. This study suggests that economic factors influenced Egypt'sforeign policy, but only to the amount that this also did not compromise thesafety of the government.Several points of view are worth considering here: Topicscovered include: Egypt, international relations, economic implications, realism, historical perspective, and comparisons.
