Kivonat: | This article provides some theoretical and practicalattempts to bring attention to the role that Egypt's economy had in shapingthis country's foreign policy from 1978 and upwards. This study suggests that economic factors influenced Egypt'sforeign policy, but only to the amount that this also did not compromise thesafety of the government.Several points of view are worth considering here: Topicscovered include: Egypt, international relations, economic implications, realism, historical perspective, and comparisons. |
