Description
Abstract:As the global automotive landscape undergoes a profound transformation towards sustainable mobility, the rise of electric vehicles (EVs) has become a focal point. This thesis investigates the impact of the rapidly growing e-mobility sector in China on the established German automotive industry. China, as the world's largest automotive market and a leader in electric vehicle adoption, is reshaping the dynamics of the industry on a global scale.Key findings reveal a complex interplay of factors influencing the German automotive industry. While China's ambitious goals for electrification provide new market opportunities, they also pose challenges related to competition, technology transfer, and regulatory frameworks. The thesis discusses how German automakers are adapting their products, R&D initiatives, and business models to align with the evolving dynamics of the global automotive market.
