Alongside highlighting this complex issue, the study seeks to identify similarities and differences in the attitudes of these countries towards their EU membership, while also examining the perspective of the EU on the matter. After clarifying the concept of national sovereignty, the study discusses the common features of Czechia's and Hungary's EU accession, along with their experiences during the first twenty years of their EU membership.
