| Abstract: | The purpose of my thesis is to examine the role and impact of South Korea’s public diplomacy in the digital age, with the intention of understanding how it has strengthened the country’s global presence and power. Furthermore the investigation is aboutto unveil how the Republic of Korea and its key diplomatic actors have been utilizing public diplomacy to gain influence and recognition across the globe; to point out what kind of methods, courses of action are being implemented to enhance their international image and impact; to identify what kind of external forces and in what way can have a great impact on South Korea’s public and digital public diplomacy; to detect possible limitations and challenges that might be threatening to the diplomatic measures. |
