Kivonat:This thesis aims to explore the restaurant industry in Budapest, where influencer marketing has emerged as an effective and commonly used tool for driving audience engagement and assisting businesses in the increasingly competitive hospitality sector.The study outlines the best practices of influencer marketing, for example working with micro-influencers, or finding the best match as a business. Challenges are also discussed, one of the main aspect is being the high cost, and the other one is the challenge to find authentic content creators.The thesis explores the consumer perspectives of dining, through surveys and interviews, and shows that while, influencers affect food and beverage decisions, the degree will depend on the credibility and truthfullness of these influencers.
