Description
Abstract:This thesis explores the evolution of digital payment systems, with a particular focus on the comparative positioning of Revolut against traditional banks. Through a comprehensive review of the theoretical foundations, market trends, and generational adoption behaviors—especially among Generation Z—the study investigates how Revolut’s growth strategy, innovation, and financial performance distinguish it in the competitive financial landscape. Using a structured research design, primary data was collected through a survey targeting young adults familiar with digital finance. The findings provide insights into user preferences, trust factors, and the perceived advantages and limitations of Revolut compared to conventional banking institutions. The study concludes with strategic recommendations for digital payment providers seeking to attract and retain the digitally native Generation Z, offering valuable implications for both academic research and industry practice.
