Description
Abstract:This thesis explores how digital innovation enhances visitor experiences at UK heritage sites while preserving historical authenticity. Through case studies of Warwick, Windsor, Cardiff, and Edinburgh Castles, the research analyses the use of augmented and virtual reality technologies, mobile apps, and interactive displays. Findings reveal that thoughtful technology integration improves engagement and accessibility, but must balance modern innovation with conservation priorities to maintain authenticity and visitor satisfaction.
